reread 1: okay after rereading this it’s definitely at least a 4.5, maybe a 5 star. that ending though. damn.
first, i have to admit that i was pretty distracted while reading this book. which is why this took me so long to read, and i think also contributed to me not enjoying this as much as i could have. i still really liked it, but i feel like it definitely has 5 star potential. i love the characters in this series, and i think the world is super interesting and i love learning more about it.

Thank goodness this book did not have second book syndrome! I absolutely loved reading this story. I dont want to say too much but wow what a great continuation!
