Ce livre n’est pas fait pour moi. Je n’ai pas aimé la manière dont c’est écrit.

This book felt long to me. Also the sex scenes felt overdone. How many different places and positions can they do it in. All with an 11 yr old or family member right there. It gave me some icks on that one. I get that they were hot for each other but it felt like too much.

This is an OK beach read. The story has fairly good writing and storyline. The characters each have their own nice little story arc and characteristics. I didn't like how much physical fighting the 'typical' men did in this book, and how 'manly' scars and weird testosterone energy was romanticised. But for each their own, I guess. Oh, and as a former restaurant employee, it was kinda weird how often Naomi could just walk out of her job without consequences?? But that's details, I guess.

+ a fun, casual read
+ intriguing family dynamics
+ Hallmark meets smut

- exaggerated 'twin' situation
