*Review of Volumes 1-3*
I watched the anime first, so I pretty much remember what happens. It surprised me how dense the first few chapters were and how fast the pacing was. I mean it's just as good as I remember. Hilarious, well developed characters, some good old tears and feel good vibes. Not to mention the incredible world building and power system. I was definitely curious about how the hand signs would be portrayed, so that was fun to see. I also haven't see any of the chapter art covers before, so that was also so fun to see. It's definitely crazy to see some of the cover art foreshadow some stuff far in the future. I'm definitely not expecting the manga to stay this high quality for the entire series, but I know this series will break me emotionally, so I intend to finish the whole thing. Kakashi is one of my favorite characters of the series.

Meh, I think I'm going to call it quits on Naruto. Not that it's bad, it's just not a series that's for me. I enjoy manga and graphic novels; however, I think this one has too many action and training scenes for me to enjoy at this time.
