1% humour, 99% obnoxious nonsense. I suppose I wasn't cut out for this kind of "supposedly-entertaining-book".

Entertaining but, as a book, it gets a bit samey. I've been reading it for quite some time now.
But I definitely recommend the website or the book as something to dip in and out of.

Another re-read but some parts were just as funny as the first time i read. A lot of jokes are a little outdated, but makes sense for the author. Must be able to handle some dark humor

The cover on this one is cute! I have a thing for black covers. Once, when I organized my bookshelf by color, there was nearly two shelves of black books.

Okay, I will admit that I haven’t completely finished this book. This isn’t because it is bad, it is just because the galley is on my computer only and sometimes reading for extended periods of time on here hurts my head.

From what I have read, this book reminds me a lot of Chelsea Handler’s books (which I will review soon). David Thorne is snarky and sarcastic. The email exchanges he has with various people had me laughing a lot. Everything he does is so random and crazy that I could never imagine doing them myself. I hopped around from story to story and read the ones that immediately caught my eye. I loved the emails he had with a lady at Blockbuster. So funny!

This book may not be for everyone. Some may find it offensive and idiotic, but I thought it was quite funny. I’m looking forward to finishing it at some point!

Thank you to NetGalley, David Thorne, Penguin and Jeremy P. Tarcher for this galley!

I thought hey, I liked his free books on kindle unlimited I will buy one of his books. What a mistake that was. The book sucked. Not funny at all.
