Sweet Peaches.

Tristan Strong is absolutely amazing, hands down. Full of humorous, complex characters, who at their core just have *heart*. Once the plot gets going, it never gives up until right at the end.

You have to read this.

I think this was a great introduction to American and African mythology. I am hopeful for the remainder of the series to delve deeper into the mythos.

Loved this book a lot. I really like the Rick Riordan Presents books, but this one really stuck out with a culture/folk heroes I didn't know a lot about, like Aru Sha. Can't wait for the next one.

A reading experience like no other! Sarcastic, dark humor, with an epic fantasy and some science fiction.

If you enjoyed any or Rick Riordan's YA books, you will probably enjoy this. It's not as tightly written and I wanted more out of the "side kick" characters, but there's already a sequel coming so I have hope. As someone whose entire tangential knowledge of these tales was confined to "Song of the South" (yes, I really do know) until I hit college, I missed a lot of this oratory. Everyone's story deserves to be told.

Couldn't really connect to the chracter. In this case it really was me not the book. The book was well-written and the characters objectively interesting.
