Dan Brown did it again! He did follow a similar receipe of that to the Da Vinci code, but I found the plot to be completely different. It was captivating reading about such a niche part of history and art history. I love the symbology and I even thought the anti-matter explanation sounded somewhat realistic. I did suspect the Carmelengo and Mr. Kohler while reading, but was surprised when it was not Mr. Kohler; as the underestimated disabled villain  was in the Da Vinci Code. I would highly recommend this book and I can't wait to see the Vatican someday and think about this book.

Read in German, "Illuminati". This is the only good book Dan Brown has ever written. A new Pope is to be chosen, but the favourite candidates are being picked off one by one by a mysterious sect.

Way better than the movie

I read this before the Da Vinci Code and it's a fine mystery, but I didn't get the hype.
