AND MY CHINDO SELF WERE JUST SCREAMING SQUEALING LAUGHING THROUGHOUT THIS WHOLE BOOK
I MEAN THIS IS BASICALLY MY LIFE (minus the murder ofc) FROM THE STRUGGLE BETWEEN THE LANGUAGE, HAVING YOUR FAMILY OUTRIGHT BEING DISAPPOINTED THEY WASTE SO MUCH MONEY FOR YOU TO LEARN MANDARIN BUT YOU STILL CANT (IM SORRY MOM AND DAD), ALL THE MANGOES AND DRAGON FRUITS, THE CHINESE MEDICINE, THE CHINDO NAME (SHOUTOUT TO TOM CRUISE SUTOPO), THE TANTE2 KEPO, TEAPAI, THE NEVER ENDING FAMILY FEUD, THE SUNDAY DIMSUM LUNCH, DOWN TO THE SACRIFICE AND THE LENGTH YOUR FAMILY WOULD GO JUST TO PROTECT YOU, AND THE FEELING OF HOW MUCH YOU LOVE YOUR FAMILY AND GRATEFUL FOR THEM YET YOU WANT TO GET OUT THERE AND LIVE FAR AWAY FROM THEM BUT YOU ACTUALLY DONT???
