I love this world and so happy this series has continued. The original trilogy was great (even though it frustrated me with certain choices) and I think about it constantly, so l am glad to be back with my favourites.

Note: YOU MUST READ THE ORIGINAL TRILOGY BEFORE STARTING THIS BOOK!! Lots of spoilers and call backs to the original trilogy and you'll be lost without the backstory.

Lots of POVs and separate story lines but they do all merge at the end. Amazing fight scenes, beautiful dialogue, and a story that made sense for our OG favs. I loved the new character Tes and wonder if we'll see her in the future. Her ending still has some loose threads (ha) to be addressed but happy with her arc if this is the last we see of her. I am also over the Ferase Stras storyline and don't see a need to go back there again.

I can't wait to get more of Kosika (White London) and her Saint in the next books. I think they're going to cause a lot of shit for the four Londons. Not sure if this will be a book 5 or 6 plot line.

Got to see our Kingly fav Rhy and his consort Luc. I love them. Even though Rhy's story took a bit of a back seat, the story seems to be leading up to him having a bigger role in the future (hopefully?) and what does fhat future look like for Kell and Rhy, connected the way that they are?

Kell and Lila. My loves. I have already expressed how annoyed I was with Lila and her inability to let others in but are those walls starting to come down? Is she showing another emotion besides stabby? Part of me is like finally, she's outwardly caring for Kell but the other part of me is like oh god, are we losing an Antari now that she is letting her guard down a little?

I thought Kell wanting to "rebrand" as Kay was kind cheesy, especially because it wasn't really brought up again. But him during weapon training on the Grey Barron? Hot. I would love a book of Kell and his old travels before the original series started of him world hopping. AND WE'RE STILL MISSING HIS BACKSTORY AND I HAVE BEEN ANGRY ABOUT IT SINCE BOOK 3.

In general, this book was great but my only complaint is I WANT MORE WORLD TRAVELLING, SCHWAB!

I really enjoyed this book but it took me SO LONG to finish it. I think the pacing in the first third was tough so 4/5. It took so long to build up the story of Lila and Kell.

The magic and world building in this book are insane . For me, I actually LIKED that I had to struggle to understand and grasp the world. Or four worlds rather.

Both Tes and Lila really stood out to me. Both strong and keen women, but in separate ways. Delilah who shined in the darkness of violence, taking the chaos and turning it into her own power. Tes who fought time and time again to prove herself.

The writing style in this book is
