never reading this lady’s books again
The book started out good. Even tho Monica was doing a lot but that was her lifestyle. We finally start getting somewhere & then…. Mahogany is introduced for what? We don’t know what’s gonna happen with the two people we spent all those pages reading about, we’re left in the hangers about Focus’ status, you just… introduced more drama & then left it on somewhat of a cliffhanger, after telling us in the beginning that you aren’t writing about these people ever again. A sin & a shame.

Monica is by far my favorite female character I read this year. I love the fact that got out of prison handling people by getting her revenge on Fresh. I love the relationship she has with Armani and I was happy that her mother and Looney got what they deserve by the end of the book. I am looking forward to reading the spin offs and the rest of this series. I love Aubry J books so I am ready to read more from her back log.
