Finally a person that says "You're listening in on this meeting because you might hear something we didn't put together"! There are lots of open ends in this one so I'll be reading the others in this series eventually. Overall it was enjoyable and surprising how everything comes together.

After reading the first book last year I wanted to find out what happened with drex and eve. I wasn't disappointed. This was a full throttled, action packed, steamy read. From start to finish the author didn't let me down. You never knew who was the enemy, the tale twisting so much it never got boring. I'm so invested in this series now I can't wait to read book 3.

Brilliant conclusion to Eve and Drex's story! I love the relationship between them and the fact that Eve found a backbone in this book. I love all the secondary characters (the good ones anyway ;) ) and I really hope karma in the form of Drex gets Ben at some point!

Super excited to be going onto Axle's book now!!

Finally!!

For what seems like lifetime, in reality it only a week..
Longest. Week. Ever. #JustSayin ✋

So the book starts where we left off in book 1.. major cliffy. Well to me it was.

Not that i can say much and ruin the whole experience of reading Drex and Eve's story.

But i will say this.

Bloody. Amazing.

It will blow your mind on how amazing it is.

C.M. Owens you deserve a bloody crown you are my queen. You never ever disappoint me in any of your books and you are like the Queen and writing these amazing stories!

I honestly can not wait to see what else becomes of this series and will wait on tender hooks waiting to hear a smudge of information.

Bloody amazing.

Really liked this second in the series!
“Well I never thought I’d see the day Drex Caine loved a girl. Guess hell just froze over and the devil is getting a fur coat.”
Lots of multi-plots going on, who to trust, and who is lying (everyone). I loved the close bond that Eve and Drex build upon in this story.

It’s hard to find a MC story that isn’t OTT. This one will go into the pile with the [b:Slow Burn|41726841|Slow Burn (Lost Kings MC, #1)|Autumn Jones Lake|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1536253182l/41726841._SY75_.jpg|42707805] series. They both have wonderfully written characters with heart!

Good conclusion to the story. The h continued to get on my nerves a bit, but I enjoyed the characters overall. There was good chemistry. There were darker and gritty aspects of this book. The trope of “I’m too bad for her so I must let her go” is a big theme here. Overall it was entertaining and well-written. See my review of the previous book for more details. I want Sarah’s HEA!

4 stars.

Kind of a different biker book, while there are a lot of elements in it, it did not feel quite what I am used to. First of there is a lot of drama surrounding the characters, which usually is not a bad thing but here it was one thing next to another and it all was pushed together. The biker feel I had was mixed.. maybe it was not explained as good as I wanted or I missed it, but the club was divided into 2. Drex and his 'followers' and Herrin and his 'followers'.

Let's start with the fact that Herrin is the President, yet he does not know how Drex's (the VP and his son) operation with the cars works, which as President should he not know this? Also all the secrets they keep from each other the 'brothers' it bothers me a little.. That you have a private live I get that but usually secrets get you killed yet here I feels like it is backwards..

The second is that it feels like Drex's has his own chapter, yet not.. A lot is divided and most hate Herrin because he does not care about anyone anymore, and for him it is just about power and money not about the brotherhood it should be, yet some still stand behind him, which is to me completely normal, some are just as sick & power hungry.

Eve, that girl has been through some much and considering these 2 whole books where about her and Drex and how she actually fit in to the whole equation, and finally finding out about who was behind everything, I have to say I feel a little cheated.. I wish there was more talk about and with her Uncle, she really was just a Coincidence. I love her relationship with Drex even though I would have nut-punched him so many times already =P..

Book 2 has some humor filled scenes with Beth and her Gun..
I know there will be a book 3 and that the story is not finished yet with Herrin etc.. But book 3 will be about Rush and I just wished that they Finished Eve's story.. I feel like it has not been settled yet with Ben. Yes he went under the radar but is he really done with Eve? No I don't think so, he is not the kind to give up like that, and to push him between other story's.. I don't know how to feel about that.. Rush has his own story to give, and to be honest, yes a lot of people were involved in this book yet, no back story or problems were giving except for Snake or Jude and it involved like it should have most about Eve and Drex and I wonder how it will all play out now..

I do hope there will be lots and lots more of fun beth to read.
