So, this book was pretty good! Keefe is being pretty stupid, but you can't blame him. Fitz is doing better, but I feel like he still thinks he's the coolest person out there. Dex needs more attention, but I've kind of resigning to the fact that Sophex will never be a thing... Sad day. I don't even know who to trust! It's so crazy, but the lovely Ms. Messenger has created a wonderful book with a very enticing plot. You rock, Shannon!!

I LOVEDDD this book so much!! This was the 4th book in the KOTLC series, and omgg this book was a rollercoaster of emotions and the craziest plot twists that had me at the EDGE OF MY SEAT😱😱😱. The most craziest things happened, and it had an ending that leaves you feeling conflicted, empty, sad and shocked, making you eager to read the next book.

Best book in the series, not even an argument. This book is peak Sokeefe. It is everything to me. This book is my first true love. Exillium?! King Dimitar?! The introduction of the two best side characters?! Hello?!? So scrumptious, I could eat this all day. I don't even need a fork, I'd shovel this shit in my mouth with my own bare hands.
Warning to the Alvar lovers out there: I was once in your shoes too. Keep your expectations low for books to come. It only goes downhill for here.

It’s been too long since I cried at a book. Calla’s death hits hard. I think the only other book death I cried at was Hedwig. But Calla, oh poor, sweet Calla. Her sacrifice is so sad, especially knowing everything she’s done for Sophie and her friends, and then on top of that, Sophie now has to deal with Keefe joining the Neverseen.
Sophie has to deal with way to much, and some people say she’s whiny and annoying, but I disagree. She deals with a lot of crap, and she deserves the emotions she has. I feel like Everblaze is where things become serious, with Kenric’s death and the burning of Eternalia, but this is where the stakes jump so much.
Prentice, Exillium, the Council, Fintan being alive, the ogres, the plague, the gang being exiled, this book is a wild ride from start to finish.
I really enjoy this book and it definitely deserves the 5 stars.
