Not bad. I enjoyed his writing as it was very lyrical and beautiful, but there were certain parts that just flew past my head.

Great little introduction to philosophy. Would recommend it to anyone who is interested in the subject matter. My only real problem with this book is the lack of talk about ethics and morality. Seems like a very important thing to talk about in an introduction to philosophy book. Other than that it is great.

The title is sort of misleading. It mainly limits itself to nature of knowledge - but on that subject it is a good and brief guide.

I have to leave it in the middle just because, as I feel, it is not the right time to read this one - perhaps, I ought to get a different philosophy book to get along with this genre. For now, peace!

This is an excellent introduction to the basics of philosophy. Russell's writing style is easy to follow, and he chooses a few very simple and easily understood examples to which he returns in each chapter, slowly building his arguments. In comparison with the much harder-to-read "Think" by Blackburn, this is a far preferable introduction to Philosophy.
