Sometimes I totally get why the Bluebonnet committee chooses books and then I read one like this and have absolutely no clue.

This is a lovely tale of friendship and I'm excited to share it with young readers. This reminded me a lot of the friendships in the Winnie the Pooh tales, but is written in a simple and brief way so readers new to chapter books will be able to read with someone or even on their own.

There are moments of adventure, sweetness, humor, and all of the things that make life wonderful. This is a beginning of a series and I can't wait to read and share more of the friendship fun with young people.

Sweet early chapter book about a growing group of animal friends on an adventure to save a companion who was blown away by the wind. The illustrations of all the animals home are precious.

Sweet story that would be fun to use with students; you could ask them what will happen next. It reminded me a bit of the cast of characters in Winnie the Pooh. I wondered about hedgehogs swimming and looked up some facts about them. There are a lot of really cute videos you could use in conjunction with the book.

This book was perfect to read aloud to my 19 month old. Sweet story that kept me reading, and lots of illustrations that kept her engaged! Perfect!

Cute story about how different animals came together to help their friends. I enjoyed how the author didn't shy away from using "big words" and rather added in the definitions to help build vocabulary.
