I think this is even better than the first book?!

Honestly, I love Podkin so much. The story is told like a true campfire story. So beautifully decribed that I could see the pictures so clearly in my mind. I know these are rated "childrens books" but I feel that any adult would enjoy these ❤

Das war wieder sehr süß! Für eine der Figuren hätte ich mir einen anderen Weg gewünscht, aber man kann nicht alles haben. Umso spannender, was aus dieser Figur werden wird!

I'm LOVING The Five Realms book series!

It's the perfect mix of action, adventure and a heartfelt story about friendship and family. It's so engaging.

I went from fearing for our characters' lives to giggling about how silly Podkin is, to frustration about how whiney he sometimes can be.

I find it so great to see how much these characters care for each other and look out for one another, despite their differences. After all, that's what family is all about!

A well deserved five stars! I wish I could give it even more. Definitely one of my favourite series of 2018, maybe even ever!

A lovely sequel, well written. Fast paced but filled with real emotions. Looking forward to the next book, and probably anything by this author.

To be quite honest, I had to give up on this book by chapter 6 because it's all about war, war, and more war, and it just doesn't get to after the war, and since this series is long, I imagine we'd go through more books just about this damn war and I'm not in the mood to read book after book about this war. I loved the first book, but this one is just annoying to me, I'm sorry. I hope those of you who get through the first book also get through this one and even manage to get through the whole series, but for me, it's a no. No more! I'm disappointed...
