A lot more sexual than how I usually like my books, so I felt a bit uncomfy reading it.

I keep reading vv popular romance novels and hating them
I just want to feel smthn
This was cute
Occasionally
Couldn't get thru the last two chapters
Also so idealistic
Like bro if u writing about political figures at least make it a lil bit realistic ma'am

This book is lovely if a little silly. Plus kind of a rough reminder of the actual state of American politics

this was….fine. 100% overhyped. i was never able to connect with or even really LIKE any of the characters; there was little to no development throughout the story. the two main characters going from ‘i hate you’ to melodramatic declarations of love in just a few chapters was….hard to believe.

and don’t get me started on the overarching theme of a bisexual boy getting into politics and his whole Democratic family is holding hands and skipping together into a huge rainbow filled sunset, and also the Royal Family is super accepting and chill about it all.

this was cheesy and filled with cliches and so many lines that felt like a “that totally happened” equivalent, saying “and then everybody clapped” in an incredibly unappealing and unsatisfying way. i usually love cheese, but this made my stomach turn. i’m always looking for more happy ending LGBT+ books for my gay little heart, but this was Not It. disappointment at its finest.
