Well damn. This book is by far my favorite out of the whole series, I truly truly love Lale’s character, fierceness and determination especially. She catered to my heart more that Mera did, and I felt as though her story was really enthralling as we learned more about her past and as the book continued. I love that she’s such a badass and can hold her own in any fight, and how willing she is to sacrifice everything for the ones she loves. She’s headstrong, blunt, and flawed to perfection. Anyways, it was super sweet and I thoroughly enjoyed it!

I loved how Reece and Lale’s love story came together, intermixed between past hurt and future love. I’m so so glad they were able to finally pull their heads out of their asses and get everything sorted out, because dear god we really needed that. I loved the entire story, from the fight scenes to the spicy scenes to the battles. It was absolutely fantastic, although I 100% could have lived without the pregnancy trope (for both mera AND lale) but I understand why it was necessary for mera in order to explain away her lack of fighting scenes and focus everything more onto the story of Lale and Reece.
