I really didn't enjoy the main character, and I hated that she had to be mansplained even though the concepts were not hard to grasp.
Also figured out the ending less than half way through and it's painfully obvious that the moral is "appreciate what you've got" 😳🙄
Not for me!
Moderate: Suicidal thoughts, Suicide, Suicide attempt, and Sexism

Before I continue: Content Warnings for this book: Suicidal thoughts, suicide, depression, death of a family member, death of an animal, toxic relationships, addiction.
This book follows our main character as she visits 'The Midnight Library' after she attempts suicide. In the midnight library she is able to choose any book to live in - all of them are versions of her life if she made one decision differently. You know all those regrets you have? Or those things where you're like: What if I did this instead of this? Well, she gets to live out that life.
See, the concept is enticing and intriguing.
However, the main character clearly has depression, in some lives she is even medicated for it, but we never see her see a doctor of any kind. And I can't overlook that fact.
I also felt the ending was predictable and rushed.
Spoiler
It also ends with her just suddenly realized all regrets are worthless (which I don't like as a concept) and suddenly feeling so much better and not getting any medical support or seeking any medical support after attempting suicide. I can't overlook this fact, it is a damaging concept to promote.Overall, I enjoyed this book, but I didn't feel much past that.
I know a lot of people LOVED this book - and that is okay! - nothing against anyone who loved this book, these are simply my opinions.
