As mentioned by another reviewer, this book offers some pretty good advice on how to change your perspective on life and living which includes more positive thinking and not giving up on any of your goals... but after awhile, these quotes become repetitive.

In many cases, quite literally.

Different sections of the book have repeated phrases, word-for-word, which become a disappointment to read. You understand most of the points about half-way through, so repeating them till the end seems bothersome to the reader once they realize what’s happening.

In conclusion, I would say to get this book from the library and give it an once-over. No need to buy it.

I thought there would be a lot more substance in this book. I found it very repetitive and it was hard to get through. There were a few highlights for me but I am sure I could have found these on their blog/website as well.

I did enjoy the suggestion of daily journaling and the 31 (daily) prompts they gave to get started.

I started this book in January, and I am finally now finishing it in April. I would usually only read a chapter here and there, and I just really took my time with it. This isn’t really a book you would want to read in one sitting anyway, it is a lot more enjoyable if you follow the prompts and seriously ponder the questions it asks. It definitely has helped me to have a better outlook on life, especially when it comes to stiriving to become more positive and not compare your lives to others.

It was repetitive and full of toxic positivity. I read the first 100 pages and skimmed the rest.

A few interesting points and noteworthy quotes. Mostly redundant (not surprising) and poor writing. Best suited for as a coffee table book in a therapy waiting room.

As I have read half a dozen self-help books this year, I feel I am somewhat decent judge of what makes one particularly unique or engaging. This book is not either of those things. It uses the same chewed up jargon you'd find on daytime television shows or mommy blogs. It lacks depth or insight. I'm genuinely flabbergasted that a book like this has become so popular.

Considering it’s a book about 1,000+ things, it feels pretty vapid and repetitive. This would be better as a calendar or like, an inspirational twitter account to follow but the format of a book for this is not it. It’s like reading cliches in the form of a grocery list for 300+ pages and I couldn’t even get to page 20. The message is nice but the book is arduous at best.
