It starts off incredibly action packed, it levels off a bit to introduce some new characters then it gets incredibly action packed again.
Graphic: Alcohol, Blood, Body horror, Bullying, Body shaming, Child death, Cursing, Death, Drug use, Dysphoria, Eating disorder, Excrement, Emotional abuse, Gaslighting, Gore, Grief, Gun violence, Hate crime, Homophobia, Injury/Injury detail, Medical content, Medical trauma, Mental illness, Misogyny, Murder, Outing, Racial slurs, Physical abuse, Self harm, Sexism, Sexual content, Suicidal thoughts, Torture, Toxic friendship, Toxic relationship, Violence, Vomit, and Xenophobia
This book continues further the storyline of the students of King’s Dominion, School For Assassins. We get the rest of the “Freshmen Final Exams” and we see some new blood come in too. While I’m glad to see returning characters and new ones, there is some convenient storytelling that keeps this volume from being an extremely fulfilling action packed ride of a volume. It’s well worth checking out though if you liked the first Hardcover volume. I can’t wait for the third which is coming out soon.
