I have never read or listened to a story by Edgar Allan Poe so I decided to test out the waters with one of his well-known short stories and I'm not disappointed. From understanding the context of the story I thought It would be best for the story to be experienced for the first time through an audiobook, and I was very right. The Narrator's performance of an unhinged unstable man trying to sound sane was top-notch even for the audiobook being so short it was a well-written story conveying a man's spiral through his insanity and failing to control his subconscious guilt of murder.
Graphic: Body horror, Death, Gore, Mental illness, Stalking, Murder, and Injury/Injury detail
Moderate: Gore, Panic attacks/disorders, and Schizophrenia/Psychosis
Minor: Body horror, Cursing, and Blood
