On the whole I enjoyed this novella collection. Ali Hazelwood stories just work for me for the most part.

Under One Roof 4⭐ - I liked the prologue, but it felt a little unnecessary to have it. I would have bought into the story from the first chapter. I wanted a little more communication between them during the love scene, but the banter and bonding throughout was top notch.

Stuck with You 2.5 ⭐ - The whole conflict of this story is a massive miscommunication. Neither of the characters were compelling enough to overcome this for me.

Below Zero 3.5 ⭐ - The conflict in this story is also predicated on a miscommunication, though not quite as egregious as the one in Stuck with You. I liked both Hannah and Ian, and their reason for not getting together initially worked better for me.

I finished this on an airplane. These are fast-paced and connected novellas about a rag-tag trio of scientists finding love in unexpected (or extremely expected?) places. If you love "enemies"-to- lovers, women in science, and broody, extremely tall men,  you might enjoy this. I had fun even though it was difficult telling the first FMC from the second, and the MMCs were all similar. I am tired of poor communication tropes (just talk, weirdos). Also, these very hot doctor scientists have zero insight or self-esteem. It's classic Ali Hazelwood STEM-fare, so you know what you're getting into.

Ali Hazelwood masterfully interconnects three short stories together in a cohesive package.

Under One Roof was my favorite of the three, but all three stories are definitely worth the time for anyone looking for a STEM/romance/smut fix.

Very short stories, totally enjoyable.
I love Ali Hazelwood's writing because I can always count on her characters to make me laugh my ass off.
It did leave me wanting more, but I do understand that it's difficult to develop the stories to a deeper level in so short a format.
And the jumps in time did give whiplash every now and then, but I am flexible. We can work through that.
"Under one roof" was the weakest for me, but I adored it nonetheless.
"Stuck with you" was awesome even though Sadie's lack of basic communication skills did annoy me at some point, but Erik in all his Erikness compensated for it.
But "Below Zero"? Oh, "Below Zero" was amazing. I don't know if it's because I relate to the FMC traumas and personality or because the story does develop over much more time, but it was my favorite of the three. Even though Ian was the least physically attractive to me compared with the other two (which was also reflected in Hannah's view), he seduced me completely.
The smut was on point, the banter was chef's kiss and the inner monologue for everyone was the best thing ever.
I will never get tired of reading Ali Hazelwood.

PS. Buuuuut but but, Jesus Christ what is it with the titanic massiveness of her MMC? Seriously, WTF, she mentions it a thousand times per chapter and it's starting to get annoying.

Loathe to Love You is a collection of three novellas by Ali Hazelwood. We follow the stories of Mara and Liam, Sadie and Erik, and Hannah and Ian. Mara and Liam both inherit the same house and hate each other’s guts, but living so close together can change feelings. Sadie and Erik ignore each other due to some misinformation and miscommunication. But then they are stuck in an elevator. Hannah and Ian both work for NASA and Ian saves Hannah from freezing to death.

This book made me feel tingly as early as page 7! The sex scenes in this book are few, but steamy and well written. I still very much love reading about women in STEM, but I realized that novellas are just not really my thing. It always feelings like there is something missing. I loved to read the three different but somehow interwoven stories, but the depth was missing. Everything happened so fast and I wanted to know more about them! The bonus chapter at the end was quite nice, but not enough for me.

This book is a quick, steamy read. It was not bad, but novellas are just too short for me. But I still love Ali Hazelwood's book. They are nice to read.

Such cute novellas. They each got more sciencey as they progressed, which I loved. The guys do meet each other in the last novella, which is the best part. Love the strong female bond/relationships the girls have 💕

There were definitely moments I enjoyed reading this but as a whole fell short.
I think, overall, Under One Roof is the best of the collection and Stuck With You is the worst.
It can be really hard pacing in a short story or novella and I think that’s one thing the author did well, managing to hit all the story beats in a shortened amount of time without it feeling rushed. I think the characters could have been developed a little more (and especially the second story’s plot).
It did feel like, at least with the last two stories, it was the same story of miscommunication with just two different characters. And I really wasn’t into that.

And I’m so sick of the men being BIG. HUGE. Ok, I get it. They’re tall. Go figure.

But I am excited to read more of her full length novels which thus far I think are better fleshed out.
