really enjoyed the first two-thirds of the book but ending rubbed me the wrong way;

i thought one of the main themes of the book was how narrow and arbitrary social conventions can be but then why the need to include the main character's "recovery" as part of the resolution??

Absolutely mind-blowing.
Perfect.
I was left speechless, cried a little bit on the bus.
Perfecly written (and translated of course).
Such an interesting story and so, wow.
Although for the sake of my own pleasure I decide to believe the end is not exactly real and more of a made up dream.
