A solid memoir-like book for fans of James O'Brien. I learnt a lot about him by listening to the audiobook, and thought it was a worthwhile read (if not slightly unmemorable). DEFINITELY a must read for enneagram 8s!

I love the premise of this book - if you're not prepared to change your mind, then why have one?

I've picked out this quote, from James, that sums up the importance of thinking and being challenged on views;

"The current trend in public discourse that continues to worry me most is the growing support for the ideas that asking someone to explain their views is somehow the same as seeking to prevent them from expressing those views."
