Meine Wertung:
5 von 5 Sternen

The book continues with the same entertaining, odd storyline and artwork that alone makes the book worth checking out. If I have one complaint, it's that the writers add subplots and characters, and kill off many of those characters, at such a constant pace that it can be difficult to keep up with the details of the deliberately-convoluted plot. At this pace, the characters have little time or room to breathe, and the police-story cliche-spoofing comes across as less spoofy and more cliche-y. And now that I've written that it sounds like a much bigger complaint than it is. Check out "Chew"--it's good stuff and fun to look at.

Savoy sonunda Tony'den aldığı kulağı yedi ve Olive'i öğrendi. Umarım saçma bir şey yapmaz.

Applebee'ye üzüldüm, John çok kalbini kırdı adamın. Umarım ilerleyen ciltlerde ikisini bir arada görebilirim.

You cannot not like POYO.
I really don't like how they portray Amelia Mintz as the whiny girlfriend in this book. She appeared to be an independent woman in the previous novels and she has her career as a writer. We hardly see them interacting in their relationships but when we do she is upset because he has to go to work. It's just too cliche for me to accept coming from this book series where everyone seems to take all their careers seriously even if Agent Chu "hates" his job. We get to learn more about Chu's past and about his family. It was a nice change of pace that continues to integrate pretty well into the next novel. I wasn't expecting the plot twist at the end, but it made me ask the question. How old is Chu? I wasn't expecting him to be that old, *no spoilers*. It doesn't change my point of view of the story but I think it adds more too it for me. I'm used to reading books about young adults so this is a nice change of pace.
