I'm not sure this was the best Duck Dynasty book to start with as it wasn't about the family really, but about Phil's opinions on everything from politics to religion and everything in between. He talks straight and if you have ever watched the show, you know he has a keen intellect so these are not just the mad ramblings of a backwoods hick. His beliefs are Bible based, which is not going to be for everyone, but there is some wisdom here for just about everyone. One thing that threw me was the audiobook was actually narrated by Phil's son, Alan, so at times it was easy to get confused on who was really speaking.

I enjoyed this book

This is about Phil's opinions about family government and more. It was interesting to see his opinions were and what his thoughts on them were.

There was some things that I did agree with and there were some that I did not but either way it was an interesting read.

It was a good book really glad that I read the book. It was good to see some of the things he had an opinion on.

I love the simple presentation of the Gospel. Love God and love your neighbor. The Robertson’s are an excellent model of a traditional family who try and live out the teachings of Yeshua. No one does it perfect, and that’s why we have grace; kudos to them for being examples of what grace can do for all of us.

Good old common sense that doesn't seem to be too common anymore.
The book touches on subjects of: political correctness, spirituality, money, social media, family, politics/government, race, entitlements, gun control and faith. Quite a lot in such a small book.
