it was an obligatory reading somewhen in middle school & it's getting 2 stars bc i was actually able to finish it. which was not the case for a lot of sienkiewicz's other novels.
i know he was getting paid per word and i respect that! but dear god!! if i could go back in time & beat him over the head with sth heavy so he wouldn't torture us like this.........
