A super cute and funny book about a cute little vampire whose precious fang falls out, and he is super worried about his defining feature being gone! But maybe a certain fairy can help him out?

The illustrations are bright and vibrant and the characters are wonderful.

A sweet story for kids and parents who can relate to losing their first tooth.

Little Dracula is so proud of his fangs! They are a family trait and he takes very good care of them. But when one fang suddenly falls out, he panics. A vampire can't only have one fang! Luckily, he learns that it's only his baby fangs falling out so that strong new fangs can grow in their place. This is a cute, funny book perfect for young readers about to experience their own visits from the tooth fairy. The young vampire family and little Drac's witch and wolf man friends at school are solidly cute, not scary. This book is Halloween adjacent with its cast of monster characters, but with no mention of any holidays it's a good read any time of year.

Sharp, healthy fangs are one little vampire's pride and joy. He brushes, flosses and makes sure to eat healthy food, but the unthinkable still happens - one falls out in the middle of lunch! Can he tape it back in? Nope. What about tying it? Negative. He is so embarrassed that he decides he'll never return to school, but then a run-in with the Tooth Fairy and the overnight appearance of a new fang change his mind. The concept of this picture book for younger readers is delightful, but the execution falls flat. The text feels secondary to the bold and humorous illustrations, and the almost immediate solution to the vampire's problem is disappointing. Skip this book and brush your teeth instead.
