Oh please....SO many convenient character rescues that it became silly. It was a funnish romp with an interesting magic system but I rolled my eyes far too often. It tried to be meaningful and full of life lessons but more often was too much syrup for me to swallow. Honestly stopped caring toward the end.

6/10, i can’t believe I didn’t write a review about this, it was good. That’s about all I can say for this book. Creative, and interesting, it expands a little bit on the first book, but not in the way you think. Good book, but not enthralled, maybe the next book will be better, who knows
