I needed something quick to listen to while painting, and surprisingly I liked this!! It was cute and I loveeeee the “snowed in” trope

I’m not necessarily a novella person. It just doesn’t give enough time for characters and story lines to develop in my opinion. Having said that, I’m not sure that more pages would have made this significantly better. It was good enough if you enjoy the genre and want a quick dose of winter romance.

Cute, fast enemies to lovers story.
Felt a bit rushed at the end- and I wish there was more depth with the characters but for what it was- it was a cute read.

A writer and her childhood nemesis are stuck in a cabin during a snowstorm.
❄️
Penny needs a quiet place to write during Christmas so when her best friend & sister-in-law offers up their cabin, she’s thrilled. However, once she braves the snowstorm and arrives, she realizes her brother’s best friend and childhood nemesis is there too, all bets are off. Both have commitments to stay for the week with neither relenting. Should be fun.
❄️
This adult romance novella was adorable. Tropes: one-sided enemies to lovers, childhood crush turned enemy, trapped in a cabin together, & must snuggle to ward off hypothermia. So adorable and very satisfying, despite it being a novella. I’ll be reading more by this author!
