arcydzieło polskiej powieści historycznej,
nigdy nie przestanę zachwalać Quo Vadis.
(funny enough- przez Krzyżaków nie przebrnęłam)
+chyba zrobię reread

One of the greatest Novels I've ever read. Immersive and epic. Never gotten so attached to characters. Patronius is the man. Loved it

Having to read this book for my philosophy class in 5 days may have spoiled the fun a bit but I was absolutely not prepared for what I ended up reading. I was feeling spite, empathy, disgust, pity and whatever emotion may come to mind towards the characters in "Quo Vadis". I cannot deny that the plot was engaging and didn't leave me feeling bored which I have gratitude for. I don't think I would've ever picked this book up if it wasn't a mandatory read but I'm sort of glad I did anyway. It enriched my religious knowledge, solidified some of my beliefs and was rather thought-provoking. It was also a useful way to apply my newfound knowledge of Ancient Rome from history lectures. I'm interested to see how our analytical discussion in class will unfold. ⚔️
