I really enjoyed how this book built on the Savant world and the Benedict family, but was able to introduce entirely new groups and characters as well. By doing so it allowed the world to expand, and ensure that the reader did not tire of the series with the same people and same problems repeating themselves.
It was also good to have some acknowledgement that not everyone in the Savant world is heterosexual, however I feel that that single throwaway line may be close as the series gets to representation.

It's not the best of the books but it's not bad either.

More of a 3.5 stars as it picked up during the story.
Misty is someone who cannot lie, and people can't lie around her. This Savant gift causes issues-more so when she finds Alex, her soulfinder.
I'm sure this is part of a series so perhaps if I'd read others this would have had more impact earlier on.
Once the plot is underway, and we see the danger posed it was a great read. I am curious to know more about these characters and how they develop.

Ok ok this book is deffo an improvement on the last ones, this one evoked tears and stress. I still dunno how I feel that we’re kinda stretching away from the benedict family and there’s so many characters with tons of cousins sisters brothers uncles and what not it’s hard to keep track. A quick good read, read it in a couple of hours can’t wait to see what the fifth book is about.
