3.25⭐️ Such a cute fun read! Nothing to crazy but cool concept and I had such a fun time. So many cute moments that I loved and I loved Jamie's love language being acts of service. Was a little insta lovey to me and not that much going on plot wise but overall was such a fun easy quick romance.

"If there’s one thing about me you should know, it's that I love proving people wrong."

"Life is too short for that. I’ve seen friends date men who are all kinds of wrong for them just because it was comfortable or he checked just enough boxes to make sense. I don’t want someone who makes sense. I want someone I’m crazy for."

"You said you love the idea of falling in love. I don't, Ava. I love being in love with you, and I love the idea of you getting your happily ever after every damn day. I love the idea of spending forever making sure you're treated like a queen and that you have everything you want in life. That you'll always have someone at your side cheering you on"

- Recommend?! = Maybe, Not something I would think about often
- Romance, Grumpy sunshine, Bodyguard

This was such a fun read! I just adored Ava and Jamie! This book was the perfect rom-com with the grumpy/sunshine and bodyguard x pageant queen tropes. I loved how it also shined light on women owned businesses and self-defense for girls of all ages! Jamie had is BAD for Ava and watching his struggle with keeping things professional while Ava just tortured him with her flirting was so funny. As a certified passenger princess myself, I loved the fun title and I need to find me someone that will spoil me with new books, comfy blankets, and my favorite snacks on long car rides. Where do I find a Jamie for myself? Highly recommend this one!

DNF at 28%. I thought this was enemies-to-lovers, which is my bad. The MC’s were super into each other from the start and there just wasn’t enough tension/build up for me. Literally at 26% in the MMC tells the FMC she’s perfect.

I might finish it one day, but it’s not keeping my interest right now. I will say that I love that Ava is a strong FMC and has chosen women-owned businesses as her cause.

“Shoulders back, tits out, bitch. You were born for great things.”

Pageant queen/ bodyguard, grumpy/sunshine, optimist/realist, obsessed at first site. This book was a breath of fresh air. A meet cute mistaken identity with preconceived ideas of who someone is because of how they dress. This book gives all the girly girls the feels of wanting to be truly seen regardless of what they are wearing. But I also really enjoy a FMC who loves to push buttons and limits as far as she can. This book was everything I could have asked for with a relatable FMC and some great lines!
