There’s lots of running around and asking people questions with limited subtlety, and every male character seems to be interested in Sylvia. 

Still, I’m curious enough to keep going. I just need to space them out

I listened to the audio while reading my physical copy.

I have to say I was expecting more of where Sylvia came from. The fact that I read over 200 pages to only learn she has some kind of magic was frustrating! On that fact alone, I am not sure I want to continue the series.

However, I did enjoy the mystery side of things ... I just wish there was more with the main plot ... which was Sylvia finding out the secrets of her family.
