The first two thirds of the book when the author talks about her life pre, during, and post stroke are really interesting. Unfortunately, the last third of the book turns into a weird and dated self-help section about how you can control your own brain if you just try hard enough.
Honestly, I kept creeping up the speed on my audiobook just trying to get through it and I was physically cringing as I listened to the last 45 minutes.
