Nope, nope, nope. Now, I love dark academia and I love magick, but this book doesn't do justice to either. The depiction of mental health is superficial and at times problematic. The connection between the MC's thesis and the theme of the book is so pedestrian it is laughable, the plot twist can be seen coming miles away . So save money and time, stay away from this book.
