I enjoyed this, the second in the Jacksons Creek series, more than the first. I still found it a little sentimental at times, but I enjoyed following the story of a man and woman kidnapped and held for ransom by unscrupulous men, how they tried to find ways of escape and means of survival in the Australian bush, and how they both explored their growing relationship with God at the same time.
