Another short story compendium making it hard to rate. Some were really good, some were terrible and annoying.
Worth reading:
Raymus: Antilles on the Tantive IV immediately after Rogue 1
The Bucket: Storm trooper witnessing Leia's time on the Imperial ship. Good insight into the individual mindset of the trooper.
Red One: The oddly entertaining story of the other R5 droid that broke down on tatooine, letting R2 get bought.
Master and Apprentice: Best guest star appearance.
Beru Whitesun Lars: Great insight into a character killed after 2 lines of dialogue.
We Dont Serve Their Kind Here: Much more depth into the Cantina scene.
Added Muscle: Boba Fett. Nuff said.
Born in the Storm: the funniest one. About the storm troopers who didnt think those were the droids he was looking for.
The Trigger:

There are some really, really good stories in this anthology. Then there are some not-so-good stories. The most frustrating thing about this book was how often some of the stories contradicted themselves (ie in one story, there weren’t enough X-Wings for all the pilots, but two stories later, there weren’t enough pilots for all the X-Wings…a bit frustrating. Wish there was more oversight.) Furthermore, a lot of them focused on very specific parts of the story. For example, a large section of the book talked about the Cantina. So many stories and characters and the same bounty-hunter trope that it started to get quite boring. That being said, you can really tell that this book was an act of love for the Star Wars series. And this really does have some gems in it. If you’re a Star Wars fan, I definitely would recommend this.

I loved all the different little stories that were written. There were a couple I had a hard time getting through, but overall a very well done book. If you are a Star Wars fan and a fan of the Original Trilogy, you will want to get this book and read it.

Didn't actually finish it. Score is based on the ones I did read. It had a few good stores, a bunch of ok ones, and a few that were so bad that I decided to move on and spend my time reading other things.

As a Star Wars fan, there was so much to love about this book. Some stories were not as compelling as others, but it was a pleasant read overall.

There’s many fascinating stories in here, but one in particular that really got to me? The red droid that Luke almost bought. Droids are fully conscious? They feel pain?? This is cannon?? Truly disturbing twist to the Star Wars universe.
