A fantastic horror story about gentrification of minority neighborhoods. Ezra Claytan Daniels delivers another solid graphic novel and this time takes a step back from art duties to just write it. Ben Passmore does a great job on the art. At first I didn’t dig the shape of the book, but the story worked in tandem with the format so it ended up being a plus.

Really enjoyed this one- couldn't put it down so I stayed up late last night reading. Lots of good talk about gentrification and white people being white people.

This is honestly one of the strangest things I’ve ever read and I have no idea how to rate it. I liked the concept and I love the “building is alive” trope, but it felt too short for me to really be invested in the characters.
