These three novellas are as intelligent, quirky, fun, and borderline crazy as the main character they all portray - Stephen Leeds. I don't want to give too much away but I will say this step away from epic fantasy for Sanderson was a success in my book. It pushes the boundaries of reality just enough to make you really think but still keeps it entertaining.

What a confusing ending….

Great characters, especially the main aspects, interesting plot, but felt like it was there to propel the characters, leaving no time to soak it all in. (Especially for books 1 and 2 - I would have loved to see more of the camera and I3) not much world-building or perspective besides what was happening to Stephen, but I think that was intentional. I don’t know if I’ll re-read this, because I still think I’d be confused, because I wish the answers were given more clearly… I also wish we could have focused more on why the aspects were there in the first place, or just more about their and Stephen’s past. Not the perfect execution for me, but I’m still looking forward to reading more Sanderson!

Almost 5 stars. A psychological without an unreliable narrator. Or mostly reliable. Need more books in the series

While not my favorite Brandon Sanderson novel, it was certainly enjoyable! The novella left just enough questions about Legion's psychological state; it left the reader questioning whether this was a mental disability or if something more mystical was occurring. The plot itself was simple. The premise & characters in this book are what make this group of novellas intriguing.

I'm a clinic social worker and I help people with trauma including those with trauma induced hallucinations and delusions. All of this read, feels, and sounds plausible for the inside of someone's mind as described. If you take a look at the work of a Spanish clinician, Dolores Mosquera, she describes this process and how to heal it.

This was an absorbing read and I wish Stephen much luck on his path, or yours Brandon.
