Intense read about two opposites one an artist one a geek. Without divulging to much you have Cara and Travis, one prefers no strings attached sex while one would like to explore something deeper more profound. A bargain is drawn and boundaries are explored while Travis and Cara find they are becoming to mean more to one another than they ever imagine, but both carry their own demons and in order to move forward they will have to trust each other implicitly. Travis is magnetic, you find yourself drawn to him and throughout the story he continues to draw you in. Creative read, not for the light hearted.

4 “Don’t Judge Me” Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Read for the 2019 DE A-Z Challenge

This author has quite a knack for creating characters and telling a story. The truth is, the whole “objectification” kink this book explored was a little... technical for me, at least some of the time. Some of it was hot- ie the BDSM/slave chapters- but during some of the other scenes, I was skipping paragraphs because I don’t really care how things are set up and even if I did, I’m not creative enough to visualize it anyway. I mean, I guess it’s cool to turn someone into a puppet, but I don’t need a guidebook on how to do it.

I’m not going to waste my time reviewing this one because honestly, I don’t think the majority of people will be into it. The kink is extreme and even though I was neither squicked or turned on, I think most people would probably lean towards the former. It was original, though, which I appreciated. It was also very well-written. I’m definitely going to read more from this author, because I can only imagine how much I’ll love it if it gets my motor running 😉

4.5 Stars... Just barely not a 5...
Is it bad that I enjoyed this book? I'm beginning to think not... Be prepared for the unrelenting horniness that will strike.... and strike... and strike...
The sex scenes were great; the build-up phenomenal and the storyline really warmed you up to where you needed to be.... The plot was a little strange and there was some cheesy romantic moments that made me roll my eyes but still smile.
This was by no means light and the warning in the blurb should tell you all you need to know... although, if that warning strikes your fancy; get yourself a quiet room and a day or 2 to yourself as you settle in...
