This was a pleasant read, though I feel as though the characters were less well-drawn than in 'Magnola Inn'. And there's a lack of depth - I still don't know exactly what Maggie's husband/marriage was like (which was a theme in Magnolia Inn), I'm not sure how old people are, how long Jake was gone, etc. These are light easy reads, but I keep coming up with questions that aren't being answered, and it's a bit frustrating.
