Nora's reaction to Jed is so out of character for a strong woman in her 40s. It made me so mad and really brought down the story. This was probably my least favorite of the series

I really enjoy this series. There is a lot of focus on the characters as you can’t really guess whodunnit, especially in this book. And I’m always appreciative that the author will often tackle a heavy topic without getting preachy (CBD oil is a topic of contention in this book). I’d still call it a cozy mystery although it gets very sad in a few places. Still, I really love the characters and how their flaws and issues are not solved overnight. This series is an instabuy for me particularly on audio as the narrator is quite good.
