Honestly, I really enjoyed this romance book. It laid off the typical cliches of “she’s mine” “she is in conversation with a man. I must fight them” and just general “I have a big penis” so I must be incredibly toxic.
And the MMC still was the tall dark handsome masculine person. He still had the “I want her to be mine” energy but with significantly less of the toxic masculinity energy. Bravo.
Would read something else by this author.

I just knew that Aiden was going to be my favorite of the brothers. Dark hair, tattoos, “generous” in the bedroom, AND writes/loves smutty books? Hello, can you say absolute book boyfriend perfection? The whole family dynamic with the siblings of this series resonates with me so much. They will bust your butt all day long, but always have your back. Nothing better than that. Seeing their little sibling group texts was one of my favorite parts of the book.

Did I say the last Starlight Cove book was full steam ahead? Well, then batten down the hatches because Reckless Heart took that to a whole new level. The chemistry between Aiden and Avery was OFF. THE. CHARTS. from the very beginning. We're talking instant lust that turns into something more that romance readers will love.
Aiden and Avery don't know each other when they meet and act on their impulses. Each thinks they will spend one night together and that will be it... until they are introduced by Aiden's sister and Avery's best friend after Avery accepts a position to work at the family resort. It's awkward for both of them, but especially Aiden who told Avery something no one else knows. (The secret is a really good one, booklovers!) I loved these two together. Their chemistry may have been explosive and fun, but their emotional connection was just as good. I loved how they shared their deepest secrets and histories with each other. They were the whole romance package, even when they thought they wouldn't last long.
The small town of Starlight Cove didn't play quite as big a part in this book as the previous ones, but the characters I have grown to love were there helping (or harassing) Aiden and Avery along the way. Mabel was as hilarious as ever. Aiden's siblings were around a lot. I loved getting to know Addison better. There were also some fun texts between the siblings and fun moments with all of the previous couples. Avery's mom even added some humorous moments from afar.
Reckless Heart was just as fun as the previous books in the series. If you love this series, you won't want to miss this book. I loved getting to know what made Aiden tick and what Avery brought to his life. I'm super excited to find out what's next for Addison and her brother's best hockey playing friend.
