This book was just an okay, average read. I was hoping for something surprising or enlightening but mainly get I got a re-hash from the news with some other personal stories leading up to those events. Most of this memoir is minutiae unfortunately, and the Osama Bin Laden story is not particularly revolutionary, radical, or even revealing. It was a decent read about Navy Seals and how they work together and informative enough for anyone needing an introduction to these historical events.

A heroic first hand account of one of the greatest military accomplishments of the 21st century. Even 13 years after the events of Operation Neptune Spear, this book still inspires Americans to stand up for what’s right, fight the good fight, and do what must be done to free the oppressed. This book should be mandatory reading for anyone interested in learning about the Navy SEALs.

I also thought what the author said about Vice President Biden back in 2011/2012 was funny… and still partially rings true today.
