The penultimate arc with insane violence and bloodshed. Ryan Ottley really outdid himself with his art work here, the inkers also doing a phenomenal job. Loads of really good double pages and who can forget the violent double page paying homage to Invincible #27; makes you forget about how quick the pacing is

Thragg gathers his forces for the ultimate showdown against the Viltrumite empire and Emperor Nolan. As the first part of the conclusion to the Invinvible series it ties a lot of threads. It is also full of superhero action with all the survivor characters in the series.

Knowing how and when to close a story is near to a hunch in itself. Sadly, in here we are aiming at a grand finale but with an exhausted orchestra. The upside: it is almost over and we have some fine art to go with the wonky plot.

An incredible start to the finish. The final issue was great; almost half of it was no dialogue, fighting sequence.
And then that ending? Oh man. (Rapidly starts the next part)
