Enjoyable little mystery with a convincingly 13-yo protagonist possessing a precocious streak. Lots of hijinks, the broader family story is developed, Ingrid grows a little savvier as she stumbles through unraveling another mystery and it has a satisfying conclusion. I think the denouement could’ve been stretched out a litttllle longer. Felt rushed.

The sequel to Down the Rabbit Hole picks up with Ingrid trying to figure out what's going on with her brother and her father, in addition to competing in MathFest (a punishment from her math teacher), playing soccer, and acting as Dorothy in a local production of a scene from the Wizard of Oz. By the end of the book, she has gotten to the bottom of some mysteries but other situations are left unresolved.

Down the Rabbit Hole, book 2.

If you liked the first book in this middle grade series, you’ll enjoy Ingrid’s next adventure.

One word to describe this book: Predictable.
I guessed what was going on about 1/10 of the way through the book, and spent the rest of it trying to be engaged. Thankfully, the performance of the reader in the audio book I was listening to was enough to make it interesting, plus I wanted to finish it for a summer reading group.
Ingrid is stupid when she needs to be and smart when she needs to be. This annoyed me.
I thought listening to this book was fun. I kept coming back for more, though this had a lot to do with the format.
