[b:Rebound|44291916|Rebound (Pucks & Rainbows, #1)|L.A. Witt|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1551893312l/44291916._SY75_.jpg|68813826] was an enjoyable read with characters that were sweet and sensitive. I found Geoff and Asher a bit unusual in the sense that for a cop and a pro hockey star to have such vulnerabilities take such a prominent role in the story seemed unexpected. This is definitely not a complaint as so often these types of characters are overconfident alpha a-holes that don't show any emotion except lust and anger. It was actually quite refreshing to see some depth of emotion and openness that can sometimes be lacking. I thought that the MCs had great chemistry and were really good for each other. Everything worked out for them, maybe a bit too easily, i like a bit more external conflicts, but it all came together nonetheless. A really stellar audio performance by our narrators helped as well. Here's hoping they do the audio for book 2 as well. I would be all over that!

After several rereads I bump it up one star because these people grow on you. Really well developed. The story was ok. Both men were nice and liked each other so all the drama came from both ex-boyfriends. I am always disappointed by the way Witt handles the mandatory trouble in the relationship. It is always an afterthought with her, and as easily solved as someone just changing his mind.
Narration was good.

Nice story, both drama character what I mean is their insecurity and fear and past with their ex took the biggest part of the book. The story was all about their insecurity and their drama life. With the number of page, I though they would show them more about their family values, friends bro teammate out of the rink, was kind of disappoint. I would have love to read more family scene, more funny time. Even THE talk with the team was short with not a lot of discussion and was mask with more drinking our problem: US MEN, US NEANDERTAL, DONT TALK ABOUT PROBLEM, DRINK DRINK!!! I would love to know what his yeamate really though about it, was there doubt about some of them or was them stupid blind. So in resume too much pages for what it contains.
