The first 50 pages were kinda slow, but after that I just flew through it. And I loved it. So much. So lyrical and poetic, so magically beautiful. This book has some damn beautiful writing in it. And the cover!!! SO GORGEOUS.

This is a really unusual book and I cannot quite work out what I thought of it. It's beautifully written, hauntingly ethereal, full of poetry and magic but also very strange. It's almost like a piece of poetry.
