Loved this second book in the series. I enjoying the multiple POV of this story as it allows you to see so many different sides of the same story. This one did have a slower pace which suited the situation they were in. The ending on the other hand picked up very quickly and a had few twist that will make the next book very interesting.

Tommy and Declan and Adler…..OH MY!
What a wild ride! Like the first book (On These Black Sands), From These Dark Depths transports you to a world of fae and sirens, of pirates and kraken and sucks you in so fast, you forget about real life! This book 2 had more tension, romance and adventure than book 1 and once I started, I couldn’t stop!
I adore these characters! Vanessa has a way to make you relate to them in the most basic of ways, even while they are fighting fantasy monsters and possess magic that us mere humans, obviously, don’t have. ;-) It makes them more endearing and breaks your heart even more when something bad happens…..
I said no spoilers so I won’t go on.
I’ll just end with I CAN’T WAIT TIL BOOK THREE COMES OUT!!!!!!! (With These Last Breaths - August 2023)
