This was my first “bully” romance and I have to admit it made me uncomfortable at times but I still thoroughly enjoyed it! I didn’t want to put it down! I loved the school, the Zodiac Academy and the ties to astrology.  The world building was excellent and I love that there are so many mythical creatures in this book. I don’t want to say too much about the book and spoil it. I went into it blind and I’m glad I did. It has a YA feel to it and fanfiction but the first book laid the foundation for the rest of the series.  I think once Tory & Darcy come into their powers they are going to be badass and I can’t wait to see the heirs get what they deserve. I’m looking forward to continuing this series!

I regret every minute I spent with this book. Just trash. Bully romance and non-con. I will not even mention the writing...

First instinct is to give this five stars because I was BEYOND OBSESSED! However, the errors I stumbled across were basic proof reading issues. Like extra the's and funky wording that slipped by. Seriously.

Also, the girls had small wins so that was nice, but I wanted knowledge and training growth. I just got so irritated that they were all like, "yeah let's make out even though you watched me dangle and almost die constantly." I was constantly thinking why are you letting these ass wipes touch you!!!!!!!!!!!! Who cares if they're hot. The authors will really have to work to redeem them to make me feel even a bit interested in these guys. Also, let these girls start figuring out how to use there powers. How could Tory wipe the floor with that picture taker guy and then POOF all of it's gone?

Official review to come. Must ponder.

Good book, got busy and didn't have time to continue this book (let alone the entire series). Hoped that if I stopped now it would be easier to re-read when I have the time for a series as large as this one. Putting back on my TBR.

You can tell it’s a popular series for a reason and it’s right up my ally. I feel like this book was just basically a long prologue and the rest of the series has a lot of potential. Devoured this on my day off excited for the long road of books ahead. Just hope the spice level gets kicked up a few notches as the books progress
